The Program is Designed to Replicate ESPN’s “College GameDay” Fan Experience
Farm Journal’s AgDay TV is coming to the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture on Thursday, November 13, for its 2025 AgDay College Roadshow. This year’s event, sponsored by Beck’s Hybrids, will feature a live taping beginning at 10:00 a.m. EST on the Morgan Hall Lawn. The AgDay College Roadshow is an opportunity for students to show off their creativity, passion for Tennessee agriculture, compete for cash prizes, receive swag items and get a behind-the-scenes look at a live media production featuring our own experts.

Hosted by Clinton Griffiths, anchor of AgDay TV, the event will include an introduction with Keith Carver, UTIA senior vice chancellor and senior vice president and a panel of UTIA experts to discuss agricultural economics. Our experts will include Andrew Muhammad, professor and Blasingame Chair of Excellence in agricultural policy, and Aaron Smith, interim assistant dean and state agriculture and natural resources and community economic development program leader for UT Extension. These experts will explore emerging trends, share insights into their fields and engage in discussions about the future of agriculture.
The episode will air Friday, November 14, on 170 stations nationwide. Viewers may tune in to their local AgDay station, through a subscription to Farm Journal TV or Farm Journal NOW, or watch the episode in segments on Farm Journal’s YouTube after 10:00 a.m. EST November 15.
Beck’s Hybrids 2025 College Roadshow Competitions
In partnership with Beck’s Hybrids, the AgDay College Roadshow is excited to present two contests for students attending the event.
Beck’s Be the Difference Challenge
Are you a part of a student organization working as one to make a difference in agriculture? We want to see it! Show us how your organization is working to leave a lasting mark on the world around us to better the agricultural community.
Who is Eligible?
- Open to any collegiate student organization at the University.
- Best Instagram Reel or TikTok video wins $1,500 donation to the organization.
How to Enter:
- Create an Instagram Reel or TikTok video showcasing how your group works to be the difference on campus, in your communities and in agriculture.
- The video cannot exceed two minutes in length.
- The video must be posted to TikTok and/or Instagram, tag @BecksHybrids and use the following hashtags:
- #BetheDifference
- #BecksCollegeRoadshow
- Videos must be posted at least two hours prior to the live taping on campus.
- Judges will base their decision on content quality, creativity and the number of “likes” and social interactions.
- Beck’s will announce the winner during the live taping on campus.
- At least one representative from the winning organization must be present to receive the $1,500 donation.
GameDay Sign Competition
Students are invited to craft “GameDay”-style signs for a chance to win a $250 Visa gift card from Beck’s Hybrids.
Participants can create their sign supporting agriculture and our programs at a free GameDay Sign Design session on November 12 in the Agriculture and Natural Resources Building Room 101A from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST (supplies provided). Remaining supplies will be available in front of Morgan Hall on the morning of the taping for additional sign creation.
To qualify for the cash prize, students must attend the full panel taping, cheering on the panelists.
