Extension Specialist Accepted as Workforce Development Extension Network Fellow

Clint Cummings Selected to Serve in Role Through December 2022

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Extension Foundation, in partnership with the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP) Workforce Development Program Action Team (PAT), appointed Clint Cummings, project director for Skill Up Tennessee, to the position of Workforce Development Extension Network Fellow. Cummings will serve in the role through December 2022.

The Workforce Development Extension Network Fellow will work to assist in the development of an interactive data set of workforce development programs offered by Cooperative Extension across all regions. Some aspects of the fellowship include developing an Extension Network for Workforce Development, which includes making connections with liaisons at each land-grant university, and to meet with stakeholders during a visit to the National Institute of Food and Agriculture in Kansas City, Missouri.

The work will be done in coordination with the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy ECOP PAT leadership, the Extension Foundation Partnership and Development Coordinator, the Workforce Development PAT Fellow and the Workforce Catalyst.
