Retired UT mascot Smokey X diagnosed with cancer

The University of Tennessee’s retired mascot, Smokey X, has been diagnosed with kidney cancer. Smokey X was examined by the oncology service at the UT College of Veterinary Medicine to determine the best palliative care plan that will provide him with pain relief and comfort through the rest of his days.
