
Farm Bureau Public Policy Director Kevin Hensley Is the Featured Speaker
COLUMBIA, Tenn. – The third quarterly meeting of the Tennessee Valley Agriculture Club is scheduled for Wednesday, October 1, at the Tennessee Farm Bureau Federation headquarters at 147 Bear Creek Pike in Columbia.
Anyone interested in agriculture in southern middle Tennessee is invited to attend. Kevin Hensley, director of public policy with the Tennessee Farm Bureau Federation, will be the featured speaker.
Thanks to generous sponsorship for the meal, the registration fee for the October meeting has been waived. Those interested in attending are asked to pre-register no later than noon on Wednesday, September 24, by completing the meeting registration form online at: forms.office.com/r/jwCQXVvq3N.
Attendees for the lunchtime meeting will begin to gather around 11:30 a.m. CDT to visit and network. The program is scheduled to start at 12:00 noon, and will conclude by 1 p.m. Parking will be behind the office building and attendees are asked to follow the signage for event parking.
The Tennessee Valley Agriculture Club is for anyone in southern middle Tennessee who is interested in agriculture including farmers, industry partners, community leaders, retirees and others. The meeting includes lunch, updates and announcements about agriculture and a featured speaker. The group started gathering quarterly in March 2025, with its first meeting in Pulaski. The second meeting occurred in Lawrenceburg in June. Following this third meeting in Columbia, future meetings are planned to occur quarterly in Marshall and Lincoln counties, respectively.
