Annual event returns bigger and better for 2026

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – Beef cattle producers from across Northeast Tennessee and the surrounding region are invited to attend the 2026 Northeast Tennessee Beef Expo and Master Beef Producer Program, scheduled for October 15-16 at the Clyde Austin 4-H Center in Greeneville.

The Beef Expo will be held Thursday, October 15, and will bring together producers, Extension specialists and agricultural industry representatives for a full day focused on practical beef production education. The event will feature educational sessions, industry experts, demonstrations, networking opportunities and a trade show.

Registration for the Beef Expo opens at 7:45 a.m. EDT with the program beginning at 8:30 a.m. EDT at the Clyde Austin 4-H Center, 214 4-H Lane, Greeneville, Tennessee, 37743.

Producers who want to take their education a step further may register for the Northeast Tennessee UT Master Beef Producer Program, which will be offered October 15-16. Registration for the Master Beef Producer program automatically includes participation in the Beef Expo, so producers selecting this option do not need to register separately for the Beef Expo.

Beef Quality Assurance certification and Private and Commercial Applicator pesticide points will also be available as part of the Master Beef Producer program.

“We hope producers will take advantage of the opportunity to spend a day — or both days —learning, networking and connecting with fellow beef producers from across Northeast Tennessee,” said Sarah Orr, UT-TSU Extension Cocke County director and agriculture and natural resources agent.

Early registration is encouraged. Beef Expo registration is $25 through October 9 and $50 from October 10-15. Master Beef Producer registration is $125 through October 9 and $200 from October 10-15. Registration fees are non-refundable after October 9.

Participants may register online for the Beef Expo at tiny.utk.edu/NETBE or for Master Beef Producer at tiny.utk.edu/NETNMBP. Registration also may be completed through UT-TSU Extension Cocke County at 141 Western Plaza Way in Newport.
